A Battalion of Gerbera


Gerbera Jamesonii


The Gerbera comes from a family of the common daisy. They are distinguished by there bright colors that can be very vibrant. Gerbera can grow to 7 inches in length and is native to regions of Africa to Madagascar, Asia and South America. Through hybridization, Gerbera Jamesonii can be found in many different colors. They can be classified of order Asterales, family of Asteraceae, subfamily of Mutisioieae and Genus of Gerbera.

Gerbera can have meanings of innocence, purity and cheerfulness.



Beautiful contrast of bright yellow and dark red.



Gerbera can sometime be referred to as Daisies, as they bear so much resemblance.




Contrast of sun light with reflections of a clear sky, makes shadow an intricate role of light projection and scattering.






Light green leaves and sepal uphold the structure of the Gerbera.






Gerbera can come in a form where one side has different colors as compared to another side.



Gerberas are usually used as begging plants in landscapes and can bet cur for arrangements.



Gerberas can come in form of single, double, crested and full created formation.

The Anemone of June


Anemone Hupehensis

Anemone Hupehensis, also known as the Japanese anemone is a summer time flower. It's characteristics are large rosy pink petals with yellow stamens. Anemone usually have 4 or 5 petals, length of 80 cm and have a medium growth rate. It is one of the earliest summer-flowering species. It produces in large masses of deep pink petals from June to September. The leaves are dark green and bring an interesting texture and appearance to the garden.
